USPSA Area 7 Survey

Comments about the results

Thanks go out to everyone who completed this survey. 936 survey notification postcards were mailed, of which 2 were returned as undeliverable. The 235 completed surveys represent a response rate of slightly over 25%.

Every Area 7 member was sent a post card by US Mail which explained how to complete this survey on the USPSA web site. An unique validation code printed on each postcard protected the validity of the survey, by assuring that responses were limited to eligible participants and that only one set of responses per individual was counted. If someone completed the survey multiple times, only the most recently submitted results have been included in the survey. These validation codes were not used to match survey responses to specific indivuals. Area 7 Director

Reading the Numbers

Three are two percentages shown by each answer, for example:

(45%) 42% Answer Alpha

The percentage in "( )" represents the percentage of respondents who answered the question. The other figure is the percentages of responsents asked, including those who did not provide answer. The above result can be interpreted as "45% of those who answered the question gave answer Alpha, and 42% of those who were asked the question answered Alpha" The difference between these two percentages is indicated as an orange "tip" on the bar graph.
