To obtain this update, right-click on the link (as illustrated below) and select "Save Target As..." from the popup menu. Save it to your computer and then run it from there.
This maintenance release is now available for download and installation. This is considered an mandatory upgrade. EzWinScore 4.05 is a cumulative update to 4.00, meaning you do not have to have already installed any prior fixes in order to use this one.
This fix is applicable to EzWinScore 4.0 only. You must have already installed 4.0 on your computer before this upgrade will work. EzWinScore CANNOT be running when you start this upgrade and will not proceed until EzWinScore is first shut down.
The EzWinScore 4.05 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program:
- Fixed a bug in palm import in which some classifier stages were not automatically marked as classifiers on import. (palm.dll 4.0.5.3)
- Fixed a bug in the score entry window where the Did Not Fire code failed to work properly if a partial score was entered before setting the DNF dropdown to yes. (match.dll 4.0.5.3)
- Fixed team reports to show proper scores for specified firearms. (setup_d.dll 4.0.5.3, reports2.dll 4.0.5.3)
- Fixed problem with classifier upload file that sometimes sent only the lower score instead of the highest score. This is a significant fix. If you have not installed 4.05 or later yet, you should do so before uploading any additional classifier upload files.(reports2.dll 4.0.5.3)
- Fixed problem with classifer Report for SC that failed to include classifier information. (reports.dll 4.0.5.3)
- Added new registry setting to automatically set the RunAsAdministrator setting if the operating system is Windows Vista or Windows 7 and it has not already been set.
The EzWinScore 4.04 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program:
- Fixed a bug with closing score sheet print options window before all score sheets have been printed. (file.dll 4.0.4.2)
- Fixed a problem with the webfile.txt not including Heavy Metal Multigun divisions. (match2.dll 4.0.4.2)
- Fixed a problem with Pen prefix that was introduced with 4.03. (setup2.dll 4.0.4.2)
- Fixed another problem with tab order in the score entry window if "All Stages" is selected. (match.dll 4.0.4.2)
The EzWinScore 4.03 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program:
- Corrected error in printed report for Stage Profiles. (setup_d.dll 4.0.3.3)
- Corrected error where the cursor started in the A zone hits box instead of the search box, and error with tab order when entering all scores for a single competitor. (match.dll 4.0.3.3)
- Modifed the registration message box that asked if user wanted to make the current entry the primary if that person had been registered. This was an opposite behavior from previous versions that asked if user wanted to make it a reentry. This modification returns the behavior to previous versions. (setup2.dll 4.0.3.3)
- The Form Letters window did not open any more. USPSA discovered for unknown reasons it is now necessary to distribute additional system dlls to make it work again.
- Form Letters help menu was still trying to open the obsolete help file. Change menu to open the new HTML help file. (menu.dll 4.0.3.3)
- Some non-members were being registered without owing fees. This bug has been corrected. (setup2.dll 4.0.3.3)
The EzWinScore 4.02 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program:
- Fixes problem with entering scores with the "number row" of keys on a keyboard instead of a 10-key pad. If the user pressed "8" from the number row, an 8 would entered into the textbox in focus, AND the Save function would be started because "*" is a shift of "8".
- Fixes problem with expired memberships being "X"ed out too soon.
- Fixes problem with desktop shortcut not having the USPSA icon associated with it.
The EzWinScore 4.01 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program:
- Fixes problem with formatting error in the webfile.txt file generated from a 3-gun tournament. This fix affects 3-gun tournaments only (not to be confused with USPSA Multigun).
The EzWinScore 3.06 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program:
- Fixes problem with entering zero times in multiple string stages. (Note: Zeros will not display in the time boxes, and the correct way to denote a competitor's score on a single-string stage where he never fired the first round is still to use the "DNF" (Did Not Fire) pulldown on the Score Entry form.)
- Fixes problem where a lower classifier score could be included in the classifier upload file instead of the highest classifier score.
- Fixes a cosmetic-only issue in Results reporting in a match scored with combined divisions where the report header disclaimer for unofficial results read "zzzCombined divisions...".
The EzWinScore 3.05 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program:
- Deletes classifier 06-11 (Infofile 3.04)
- Fixes cursor behavior problem on Enter Scores window.
The EzWinScore 3.04 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program, and adds one new feature:
- Corrects age field problem when registering a competitor from the master database.
- Opening existing databases with age field problem with automatically correct the error.
- Fixes problem of PEN deleting numeric portion of first competitor's membership number.
- Improves detection of re-entries.
- Adds checking to the self-installing .exe file to refuse to proceed with the update if EzWinScore is up and running on the computer.
The EzWinScore 3.03 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program and adds a few features:
- Added ability to remove PEN prefix from non-members in registration form.
- Enhancement: Restored Law and Military as awardable categories per the 2008 USPSA Rulebook.
- Added more information to the classifier upload file for IPSC classifier reports.
- Enhancement: Added more fields to the Export Registration form; most of which pertain to long guns in tournaments (such as powerfactors, divisions, and aggregate division).
- Fixed problem with importing Fixed Time scores from Palm devices.
- Major Enhancement: Added ability to create bar code competitor labels (stage-specific or generic) to use with bar code scanners. Stage-specific labels take you to the stage and competitor; generic labels take you to the competitor in whichever stage you currently have selected.
- Enhancement: Added the ability, when creating stage-specific competitor labels, to print extra labels (regular or barcode) for things like chronograph and/or reshoots. (Not to be confused with the Nationals-style generic labels, where you just tell the system to print 'x'-number of labels per competitor and any label works for any stage.)
- Enhancement: Added an "Erase" cmdbutton to the Score Entry form that you can completely delete an already entered score such that the system thinks it was never entered in the first place. Useful for when you enter the wrong scoresheet for the wrong competitor.
- Enhancement: Added several new classifier courses, and deleted several courses because of rule changes. (infofile version 3.03).
- Corrected problem of Recently Opened Matches (renamed from Registry Cleanup) filenames wrapping out of view.
The EzWinScore 3.02 maintenance level addresses the following issues that existed in the prior version of the program and adds a few features:
- Enhancement: Removed the miss penalty box when the stage is defined as a Fixed Time stage.
- Enhancement: Added power factor to list of data that can be exported from the registration list.
- Fixed a problem with competitors not being included in webfile.txt.
- Corrected problem of path to the exported registration file wrapping out of view.
- Enhancement: Added support for 3 Gun matches to the Palm scoring interface.
- Enhancement: Replaced old style help with new HTML help. (Integrated help works with Vista now.)
- Corrected fee error in classifier upload file for 4-stage special classifier matches.
The EzWinScore 3.01 maintenance level addresses the following issues with the base 3.00 system:
- Fixed a problem with creating squadding_upload.txt that caused some competitors to not be uploaded to Self Service Squadding if they had nulls in their Email field.
- Fixed a problem with creating webfile.txt that caused some competitors to not be uploaded to local match results or major match results if they had nulls in their Age field.
- Fixed a cosmetic problem in the Competitor Registration form with changing power factors. Prior to 3.01, if you changed a shooter's PF from Major to minor, the change was made internally in the various tables and results were recalculated appropriately. However, if you looked at the competitor's record again, it still showed Major, even though everything else in the system says minor. A downside to this fix, however, is that if you change a competitor from Production to some other division, his PF is no longer changed to Major as a default, and you must once again make that change yourself.
- Enhancement: Modifed power factor field in the Competitor Registration form to show grayed out when Production division is selected.
- Enhancement: Modified code that stores the user's preference for match database storage.
- Fixed a problem with the Palm software interface.
