USPSA Nationals Waiting List

Terms and conditions

USPSA is providing the waiting list as a service for our members. We have established the following policies regarding this list:
  1. READ THIS - It contains important information you need to know
  2. The wait list will open at 11:00PM Eastern Time on May 17, 2009.
  3. There is a $25 fee to activate your entry on the waiting list. If you are offered a slot and use it, this fee is credited toward your entry. If you are not offered a slot, the fee will be refunded. If you are offered a slot but do not register for the match, the fee is retained by USPSA.
  4. You will be given the opportunity to pay for your wait list entry by credit card after it has been submitted. If you signup on the wait list on or before May 18, 2009, then payment must be made on or before May 26, 2009. If you signup after that date, payment must be made at the time you signup on the waiting list.
  5. The system will send you email regarding your wait list status. However, this is just a courtesy. Email is less than perfectly reliable, and you should not rely solely on email for status updates. You may get your waiting list status, place in line, or link to pay for the wait list entry (and match slot once one is offered) by looking up your USPSA classification record.
  6. If you accidentally enter the wrong member number, don't worry - just re-enter the correct number. Just leave the wrong one unpaid. Your wait list entry is based on your member number. If you get it wrong, we won't go back and change it to get you the place in line you would have if you entered it correctly - so please check your work.
  7. USPSA staff will be monitoring the status of the server at this time, and any problems will be promptly corrected. If there is a system problem,, the waiting list will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis as quickly as possible. USPSA will not make "special adjustments" to your place in line due to temporary outages, communication issues, etc.
  8. You will be sent an email when you are offered a slot, and this information will also be made available on your classification page. An offered slot must be paid within three days, after which it will be made available to the next person in line.
  9. USPSA will not telephone you if you are offered a slot. Since email is not 100% reliable, please check your classification record on-line at least once one every three days to be sure you are able to respond to a slot offer within the 72 hour window.
  10. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for checking your classification record to make sure your entry and payment has been properly processed.

Note to International Competitors and very new members

If you are a very new USPSA member who joined after May 14 (in which case your member number will not be on the web yet), of a member another IPSC region, you may sign up for the waiting list without a member number. Use the member number "NONE" instead of an actual member number. If you sign up using NONE, you must write down the transaction number that is displayed at signup time and visit www.uspsa.org/waitlist to pay for your waitlist entry and to check your status on the waiting list using this transaction number.

The waitlist is closed

USPSA is no longer accepting signup for the 2009 waiting list since we expect to fill both nationals with persons already on the waitlist.
